My studio practice is centered on play and exploring the expressive and tactile potential of multiple mediums. I primarily paint in encaustic (pigmented wax) but experiment in oils, acrylic watercolor, stained glass, printmaking, and ceramics. I am inspired by the natural world, travel, historical research, and a sense-of-place in in my home city of Boise, Idaho.
