My artwork functions as a visual diary, documenting my journey in the way a writer might chronicle their experiences with a journal. The evolution of my work-both ceramics and paintings-reflects my transformation over time. In an increasingly digital world, I find myself deliberately focusing on the tactile qualities of materials and the expressiveness of color. I move between abstraction and representation, resisting categorization. This freedom allows me to explore and push materials. My process is mostly intuitive. While I may begin with a concept or imager, I follow where the materials lead me, embracing the surprising directions they can take. The magic lies in this uncertainty-in not knowing exactly what will emerge and then witnessing it materialize. It’s this continuous cycle of creation, reflection, and renewed effort that pushes me forward.
