I create stoneware pottery full of clean lines, texture, and vibrant contrast. I am inspired by agriculture in which we harness the wildness of nature and then structure it to fit our needs and nourish the world. Similarly, I take hold of the clay on the wheel, carve, and paint to bring order and joy from a lump of clay. It delights me that my work may be a part of everyday moments like your morning cup of coffee, cooking dinner, or sharing a meal.
