Brian moved to Mountain Home, Idaho as a child. After receiving an advanced art education in Idaho, he moved to California and worked as toy designer, interior designer, and restaurant designer. Moving back to Idaho, his love for the outdoors has given him the opportunity to teach and paint in outdoor settings throughout Idaho. His talent in capturing the outdoors, has given him the opportunity to be the featured teacher to provide instruction to both beginning and professional artist at outdoor venues like Yosemite, and the Grand Canyon. Brian paints and teaches classes outside in Boise and other locations in Idaho. Brian has had numerous gallery shows where he is the featured artist and participates in many co-operative art venues. Brian has won many awards thoughout his career for both watercolor and acrylic paintings. Brian has completed many murals throughout the United States including California, Tennessee and Boise. One of his murals depicts the history of Garden City, Idaho and can be viewed locally. His original paintings are owned by several individuals and businesses too many to list here. Brian's medium is primarily watercolor and acrylic with some mixed media, lithography and serigraphy. Brian has been a design consultant on several projects, served a judge for young artist competitions and was a Meridian, Idaho Arts Commissioner for several years.
