Mandy Henebry

The work I create is function based and thrown on the potter’s wheel.  It is designed to invite purpose and engage curiosity through patterns and form.  Using colored slips and custom cut plastic stencils I make bold and playful patterns on all my pots.

Artist Bio

Mandy Henebry grew up in Lander Wyoming and in 2009 moved to Denver Colorado.   She recently moved from Denver, to Meridian Idaho with her husband in December 2019.  She has been working in clay for over 2 decades and has been a full time studio potter for the past 7 years.  Mandy has been actively showing her work in exhibitions such as “Butter” at the International Museum of Dinnerware Design, Strictly Functional in Lancaster Pennsylvania and was featured in Pottery Making Illustrated in 2020.  She also participates in countless nationally juried fine art festivals every summer.  Henebry worked as the studio manager at Arapahoe Community College and taught classes at her local art center in Castle Rock Colorado.  Mandy is currently enjoying her new home studio in Meridian Idaho as a full-time studio potter.
