Greetings and thank you for visiting my page.
Although it says Virginia, I go by Giny. I have been teaching my entire life to students of all ages from elementary, middle school to adults. I was also fortunate enough to use my creative talent working as an interior designer for 16 years at Ethan Allen.
I hold a B.A. in Fine Arts from Humboldt State, University San Jose State University and University of Santa Clara. In addition I studied under Erwin Grammel while living in Germany.
I was born in Berlin, Germany and have lived in California, Germany, Italy, Turkey and Idaho. Extensive travel and exposure to different cultures has influenced my paintings and has been an inspiration to me as an artist. I have worked in many diverse mediums, and presently am painting with acrylics and India ink. Over the past fifty years, my work has been exhibited in Los Gatos, California, Munich, Germany and Istanbul, Tukey as well as extensively in Boise, Idaho.
