I have been blessed with an endless well of creativity to amaze, enlighten and inspire. Whether using my right hand, my left hand, or both hands at the same time, I can create anything that my clients desire.
Creating since I could hold a tool to make marks, I finally stepped out and began showing what I could do in 2014 after my daughter moved off to college. Then, in 2016, I discovered that I can work with both hands at the same time. This process has opened up a new realm that I have kept smothered for too many years. Through the use of vibrant colors, my paintings are simply a journey through the beauty – and sometimes the ugliness – that is either within my head or found on this earth.
Always inspired by the beauty that surrounds me, my simultaneous ambidextrous work - and some personal experiences have led me to become an advocate for mental health and suicide prevention. My Words Matter exhibit for suicide awareness has inspired people all over Idaho, and soon all over the US.
The human mind has always intrigued me, there are so many things that happen inside of a person’s head. Through an exploration of my own mind, I am inspiring others to look inside and discover where they need healing. Inspiring my viewers to live the life they always dreamed as I live the life I never dreamed was possible.
In 2019, I sold my house and moved my home and art studio into a 29ft Toy Hauler. I now travel the United States, creating art along my journey. Boise is my home base - one day I will return permanently there, but the majority of the year, I am living and working in beautiful places beyond the Treasure Valley.
