Pam McKnight

I have collected small cool stuff all my life and have worked with a wide range of art media as a former art teacher and now incorporate those items and skills into my current body of work aptly named ” Every Little Thing.” Each collage or assemblage contains multiple cast off items that no longer have an intrinsic value in and of themselves but after careful manipulation and juxtaposition of objects along with added details in a variety of media…someone else’s cast off junk is transformed into a piece of art to be enjoyed by the next generation.

Artist Bio

Having been interested in art my whole life, I started painting lessons at age 8 and finished with an MA in Art and Museum Education from the University of North Texas. I have called Boise home since 2007. I am a former board member of BOSCO and have been in involved with the organization since 2012. My work has appeared on the cover of the Boise Weekly multiple times and my traffic box public art pieces can be seen on 9th St between Grove and Main and at Forest Service Park in Ketchum, ID. My work can be seen by appointment at my studio, on my website or in many of the various pop up art shows around town. I have also partnered as a designer with VIDA and reproduced items can be purchased at https://shopvida.com/collections/every-little-thing
