The subjects of my paintings are nature scenes, flowers and sometimes people. I paint mostly in impressionistic style. I strive to be a painter whose art evokes emotions, thoughts and create personal connections.
I hope to inspire others to start painting.
Nina was born and lived most of her life in Ukraine, but since 2001 her home is in Boise. Her story of becoming an artist is a story of the American Dream. She started painting in oil while she was still working as a full -time high school teacher, a job that she loved passionately.
She feels fortunate that her retirement is another meaningful and fulfilling chapter of her life filled with learning, artistic challenges, and meeting other artists. Nina hopes to inspire people of any age explore and find their creative side.
