Making art is how I navigate the world. The act of drawing is meditative. The act of painting is revelatory. Releasing a completed work is an act of hope and faith that creativity (in all its forms) can, in some small portion, move us along to a higher understanding of our place on the planet.
I was raised in San Francisco. The combination of a vibrant, art-filled city and a fairly crazy family were fertile ground for an artistically inclined kid. I received a BA in Fine Art from Sonoma State University, traveled the world with my partner and daughter, deepened my art practice and moved to Boise in 2018 where I am proud to be a participating member of an amazing arts community.
