Making images is how I navigate the world. Turning ideas into paintings is like mining - digging deep into my psyche to access the unique way I have of experiencing this life.
I was raised in San Francisco. The combination of a vibrant, art-filled city and a fairly crazy family were fertile ground for an artistically inclined kid. I received a BA in Fine Art from Sonoma State University, traveled the world with my partner and daughter, deepened my art practice and moved to Boise in 2018 where I am proud to be a participating member of an amazing arts community.
