Simply, I am compelled to create. Inspiration comes from observation of natural beauty, experience with animals, travels and adventure, and sometimes from some unknown place (“where did that come from?!”).
I love playing with different mediums to achieve different effects, and finding new ways to create works of art. For me art is a joy, and a calling.
Steph studied art at University, along with the natural sciences. While raising a family, her career took a turn to technology which opened up the world of pixels and computer graphics. Horses and equestrian endurance racing as well as other outdoor adventures around the world exposed Steph to the beauty and wonder of the natural world. After retiring from equestrian competition Steph resumed her career in Art and has been a member of local galleries for the past several years. Pastel and Oil painting, and now Sculpture are her focus, while still spending as much time as possible outdoors.
